About the event

Music Matters Live 2019 will once again showcase some of the brightest and most promising bands and artists from Asia and beyond, returning for its 14th year this September! Get ready for six big nights of music discovery, with 50 live acts from 15 countries at Clarke Quay and other partner venues.

After rising to fame in Singapore's nascent indie scene as lead singer of the rock band Allura, Chua began to teach herself guitar and record on her own. From the genre of folktronica music to the theatre making practices she dabbles in today, iNCH's work consistently explores the tension between nature vs technology, as she believes its exploration is an important commentary of the times we live in. iNCH has played at numerous festivals around the world, and opened for Katy Perry, Macy Gray, Greyson Chance, Charlie Puth and Vampire Weekend.

Get fired up for Asia’s 14th annual independent music festival with the official Music Matters 2019 playlist!
