About the event

Don’t miss Sarah Ward, the award-winning artist behind cabaret sensation Yana Alana, and her latest subversive stage creation Queen Kong. In a show with complete disregard for conventional chronology, the narrative starts in the middle. Prodigal protagonist Queen Kong – part rock, part ape, immortal being – embarks on a journey of transmutations and bi-curious encounters through time and space, discovering what it means to be human. Backed by all-queer, all-gender-diverse rock band The HOMOsapiens, led by Bec Matthews, this is a space-fiction rock concert of meteoric proportions. Joined by deaf performer Asphyxia, with live Auslan interpreting by Kirri Dangerfield, and mind-blowing visual projections by Will Huxley. Book Now!
